1/2 c. butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 can cheddar cheese soup
Lightly brown rice cereal in butter. Mix with slivered almonds; set aside. Brown chicken lightly in oil; add to all other ingredients except cheese soup.
Put into lightly greased 9x13 casserole dish. Cover with foil. Top with cheddar soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until bubbly. Top with cereal-nut mix. Bake for 15 minutes. Serves 12.
For vegetarian dish, omit chicken.
