1 lg. cabbage 1 green pepper (optional) 1 lg. onion 1 c. sugar Shred vegetables and do not stir. Pour sugar over them and still do not stir. Mix dressing. DRESSING: 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1 c. white vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. salt 1 c. salad oil Combine vinegar, salt, sugar, mustard, and celery seeds and bring to a boil. Add the oil and pour over cabbage mixture while hot. Do not stir. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. |
