2 lbs. fresh green beans 1 onion, diced 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1/4 c. minced green onions (use some green tops) 1 sm. can chopped green chilies 4 lg. cloves garlic Cut beans into 2-inch lengths. Boil beans and diced onions until tender. Drain. Peel garlic and mash with salt. Add oil, vinegar, green onions and chilies. Pour over beans while hot. Toss gently. |
