1 (#10) can baked beans (large!) 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 tsp. dry mustard Equal amounts molasses and ketchup (start with 1/2 c. each) Approximately 8 slices bacon Drain baked beans. Place in large oven-proof casserole. Add onion, dry mustard, molasses, and ketchup. (You may want to increase or decrease seasonings. If you don't like your beans on the sweet side, add more ketchup than molasses.) Top with uncooked bacon strips. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 2 1/2-3 hours. |
