ROASTED BROCCOLI WITH SESAME DRESSING
 

1 lb. lg. broccoli flowerets, including 3 inch of stem
3 tbsp. olive oil
4 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. oriental sesame oil
4 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted
4 tsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
Pinch sugar

In a bowl toss the broccoli with the olive oil until it is coated well and roast in a jelly roll pan in a preheated 500 degree oven, turning it occasionally with tongs, for 10-12 minutes, or until it is crisp tender.

While the broccoli is roasting, in a blender or food processor, blend the lemon juice, the sesame oil, the soy sauce, the vegetable oil, the sesame seeds, the ginger, the garlic and the sugar until the dressing is smooth. Transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and pour the dressing over it. Serves 4.
