SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
 

2 c. (about 3 lg.) mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 stick butter, melted
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. milk (1/2 c. if you use canned)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten

Mix all ingredients well and pour into a greased casserole dish. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. While this is baking make the topping.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 stick butter, melted

Mix ingredients and spread evenly over baked casserole and return to oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
