IRVIN M. SMITH'S BREAKFAST MUFFINS
 

3/8 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1/3 c. raisins
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. shortening
7/8 c. milk
1 1/3 to 2 c. dry breakfast cereal
2 c. sifted flour

Combine as follows: sugar and shortening, add eggs, milk, bran, dry cereal and raisins. Stir lightly and add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir only until combined. Grease pan and bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes 20 muffins.
