BUNK HOUSE COUNTRY BEAN SOUP

Black eyed peas
Split green peas
Pinto beans
Red kidney beans
Baby lima beans
White navy beans
Lentil beans
Butter beans
Great Northern beans
Black beans
Garbanzo beans (if desired)
2 c. chopped ham
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 cans tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
Salt and pepper

Wash beans and cover with water. Add 2 tablespoons salt and soak them all night. Put beans in 4 quarts water, then throw in the rest of the fixins. I cook them at least 4 hours. We love them here at our bunk house. Serve with a big hunk of cornbread and you've got a good meal.
