RANCHERS SUPPER STEW
 

2 lb. stew meat or beef cubes
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
2 cans tomatoes or 1 lg.
1 c. water or more to taste
1 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
3 carrots, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
4 stalks celery, sliced
2 potatoes, cubed

In large pan, brown meat in butter. Drain on paper. Add soup mix to meat in pan. Add water and tomatoes. Cook 30 minutes.

Add chili, carrots, celery, green pepper, and potatoes. Cook until meat and vegetables are tender. Thicken if desired.
