1 (20 oz.) can chick peas, drained 1 (20 oz.) can red beans, drained 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. celery, thinly sliced 2 sm. onions, thinly sliced (spring onions are nice to use) 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. dill pickle, chopped 1 c. prepared Good Seasons Italian (Fat Free) or mild Italian salad dressing Sprinkle chick peas and red beans with salt. Let stand about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well, marinate, put in refrigerator at least 3 hours. Serve on salad greens. |
