1 head Napa cabbage, shredded 5 green onions, chopped Combine and set aside. 2 pkg. Ramen noodles (do not use seasoning packages) 1 pkg. sliced almonds 1/2 c. butter Break apart noodles (may need to use a hammer) lightly brown noodles and almonds in butter. Cool thoroughly. DRESSING: 1 c. oil 2/3 c. sugar 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 c. rice vinegar Shake until sugar dissolved. When ready to serve toss together. May use regular cabbage instead of Napa or combine regular with Napa. Also good as main dish with smoked turkey (cubed or strips) added to it. |
