1 head Napa cabbage, discarding the bottom 2-3 inches 1/2 to 1 c. toasted sesame seeds 1/2 c. slivered almonds 2 pkgs. Top Ramen noodles including seasoning. Any flavor will do. I use the Oriental. 6 green onions, sliced 2 tbsp. butter Break up Top Ramen noodles. Brown with sesame seeds and almonds in butter. Add seasonings. Cut up cabbage and onions. Add Ramen mixture on top. DRESSING: 1/2 c. salad oil 1/4 c. wine vinegar 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 to 1/4 c. sugar Salt and pepper Mix together, pour over salad. Toss and serve. Chicken or shrimp may be added. |
