FIRST PART: 2 pkg. orange Jello 2 c. boiling water 1 pt. orange sherbet AMBROSIA FRUIT SALAD: 1 (11 oz.) can Mandarin oranges, drained 1 (3 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained 1/2 c. flaked coconut 1 c. commercial sour cream OR 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped OR 1 pkg. Dream Whip 1 c. miniature marshmallows First Part: dissolve gelatin in water. Immediately add sherbet. Stir occasionally while cooling. Pour in ring mold and chill. When firm, unmold and fill center with the fruit salad. Ambrosia Fruit Salad: Mix all ingredients together and chill for several hours. I find this is better if it is made the day before you wish to serve it. |
