1 med. head cabbage, chopped
1 c. long grained or white Minute Rice
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter
2 c. water
Put water, salt, sugar and butter in large saucepan and let come to a boil. Add cabbage and cook until tender (about 15 to 20 minutes). Add rice on top of cabbage and cook until rice is tender (about 5 minutes). Place in baking dish and cover with cheese sauce.
Cheese Sauce: Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add 2 tablespoons flour. Mix thoroughly. Add one cup milk and cook until thick. Add 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese. Stir until melted. Pour over cabbage and rice. Then bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
