2 lg. eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 2 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. seedless raisins 1/2 c. chopped cooking apples 1 tsp. vanilla Dash of nutmeg Blend together eggs, sugar and salt. Scald milk slowly. Stir in egg mixture and blend. Add rice, raisins, apples and vanilla; mix well. Sprinkle to with nutmeg. Set casserole in a pan of water and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Bake until knife inserted comes out clean. Serves 6. |
