1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 c. water 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/3 c. chopped green peppers 1/2 c. chopped celery 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 c. tomatoes (stewed or canned) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese Combine rice, water and salt. Bring to boil. Stir covered, reduce heat, simmer 14 minutes. |
