1 c. uncooked long grain rice 2 c. water 1 med. onion, chopped 2 c. frozen peas, defrosted 1 carrot, peeled and shredded 1 tsp. chicken bouillon 1 tsp. salt free herb seasoning Salt and pepper to taste Place all ingredients in a 3 quart saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and continue to cook 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Yield: 6 servings. |
