2 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 3 slices dry bread, crumbled 2 tsp. pepper 2 lbs. ground chuck Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs and milk. Stir in onion, bread crumbs and seasonings. Add beef and mix well. Shape 1/4 cup of mixture into a ball. Shape the rest approximately the same size. Place in shallow pan. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. Use 1 can consomme,. thickened like gravy or mushroom soup for sauce to cover. Makes 18 meatballs. |
