1 pkg. (4 oz.) Jello butterscotch pudding 1/2 c. butter OR shortening 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. baking soda Combine Jello pudding mix, butter and sugar. Cream thoroughly. Blend in egg. Combine remaining ingredients. Thoroughly blend into creamed mixture. Chill until firm. Roll on floured board 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake on greased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Decorate cookies with white or tinted frosting and small candies. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen. |
