1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
1 pkg. Knox gelatin (1 env.) dissolved for 10 min. in milk
1/2 c. milk
Cook above ingredients until thickened. Cool.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Beat 1 pint whipping cream. Fold in egg whites and cream. Add No. 2 can crushed pineapple, drained. Line bottom of 9x13 dish with crushed vanilla wafers. Spread filling over vanilla wafer crumbs and then sprinkle filling with crushed vanilla wafers on top. Keep chilled.
