1/2 c. cooking oil 5 c. flour 2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in small amount of warm water 2 1/2 c. buttermilk 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. soda 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar Mix all together, mixing well. Refrigerate. Pinch off and bake for breakfast or any other meal and will keep for several days in refrigerator. Do not let rise. Make them out and put in oven for they will fall. For 1 Person: 3 c. flour 1-2 tsp. salt; optional 3 level tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 1 c. buttermilk 1/4 c. cooking oil 1/4 c. sugar 2 pkg. dry yeast Follow directions as above. |
