PUMPKIN BISCUITS
 

2 c. flour
1/3 c. non-fat dry milk powder
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
1 tbsp. water

Mix together the dry ingredients (first 6 listed). Cut in the butter. Blend in pumpkin and water until all ingredients are moistened. This takes a fair amount of stirring. Place on lightly floured surface and knead about 20 times. Roll dough or pat out with floured hands. Use a 3 inch cookie cutter and cut into 9 biscuits or pat dough into an 8 inch square and cut into 9 equal pieces. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
