2 1/2 c. Bisquick 1/2 c. raisins 2/3 c. milk 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Mix baking mix, raisins, milk, sugar and cinnamon until dough forms. Beat 20 strokes. Turn onto a cloth covered board, well dusted with flour. Gently roll dough to coat. Shape into a ball and knead 10 times. Roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut with 2 1/2" cutter. Place biscuits on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. VANILLA GLAZE: 2/3 c. confectioners' sugar 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. warm water Mix sugar, water and flavoring. Spread glaze over biscuits while still warm. These are suitable for freezing. |
