FRESH APPLE MUFFINS
 

3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. melted shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. finely chopped apples
1/4 c. raisins

Mix all together until all is moistened. Do not over mix. Pour muffin cups a little more than half full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes until brown.
