SPINACH CRESCENT ROLLS
 

1 tbsp. slivered almonds
1 c. steamed, torn fresh spinach
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. cooking oil
1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
Sesame seeds, optional

In a blender or food processor, blend almond until finely ground. Add spinach, Parmesan cheese, onion powder and oil. Blend until a paste forms, stopping and pushing mixture down as necessary.

Separate rolls into triangles. Spread each triangle with 2 teaspoons of the spinach mixture. Roll up. Place point down on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes.
