BUTTERMILK BRAN MUFFINS
 

6 c. All Bran
2 c. water
3 c. sugar
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1 c. Crisco
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
4 eggs

To 2 cups bran in large bowl, add boiling water and melted Crisco. Let ingredients melt. Add remainder of ingredients and beat. (Beat eggs separately, then add.) Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees in greased muffin pan. Yield 6-7 dozen delicious muffins.
