3 c. sifted flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Mix the above ingredients with tap water to make a stiff dough. Place in a covered bowl and let stand 4 to 5 hours. Then pinch off small balls of dough and work out into about 5 inch circle. Fry in deep hot fat until a golden brown. Serve with hot butter, syrup, jelly or with vegetables or meat. |
