BUTTERMILK BISCUITS

2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Land O' Lakes Butter with Olive Oil
3/4 cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 450°F.

In a bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and cream of tartar.

Using a pastry cutter or two knives, mix the Land O' Lakes Butter with Olive Oil into the flour mixture. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour in buttermilk, stirring only until dough clings together in a ball.

On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently for ten to 12 strokes.

Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter, dipping cutter into flour between cuts.

Transfer biscuits onto cookie sheet.

Bake in 450°F oven, 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
