1 c. oatmeal 1 c. oat bran Sprinkle cinnamon 1-1 1/2 c. applesauce (1/3 calories of sugar) 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt, optional 1 c. skim or 2% lowfat milk 1/2 c. raisins or nuts 2 egg whites 2 tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil Heat oven to 375 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper muffin cups. Combine ingredients. Fill prepared muffin cups almost full. Bake 18-20 minutes. Optional - if you do not use soon. |
