1 egg, slightly beaten 1 1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 17 oz. can cream corn Powdered sugar Mix ingredients in bowl. In medium to large size frying pan put enough Crisco to cook fritters. Use a tablespoon to measure fritters (if fritters don't float - you need more shortening). Remove fritters after browning, drain on paper towel. Coat with powdered sugar. |
