STUFFED PIZZA BREAD
 

1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar or brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. or 1 packet dry yeast
8 oz. pizza or spaghetti sauce
6 oz. cheese
Pizza-type toppings

Mix water, sugar and salt in pot to heat just to warm the water. Put yeast in a medium mixing bowl and add water until yeast is dissolved. Add flour and mix until dough is moist and holds together. Knead and let dough raise in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375. Punch center of dough. Knead slightly to get your basic shape and roll into approximately 9x13 inch rectangle. Slice edges for braiding. In the center of bread place the sauce, cheese and any pizza-type topping you desire. Braid bread and tuck in edges and seal any crevices on the side of the bread that will leak. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
