1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. minced garlic 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 loaf crusty French bread (about 3 inches diameter) sliced into 10 to 13 pieces
In 1 cup glass, measure and combine butter and garlic. Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes until butter is melted and garlic is tender. Heat browning dish in microwave oven about 3 to 5 minutes on high, depending on dish size. Meanwhile, brush both sides of bread slices with melted butter-garlic mixture. Sprinkle one side with cheese. Place bread cheese side up on heated browning dish. Cook uncovered on high 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until bottoms of bread are toasted. Makes 4 servings, 280 calories each.
