CINNAMON NUT BREAD

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups dairy sour cream
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add brown sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in nuts.

Turn into buttered 9x5x3" loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 45-50 minutes. Turn out of pan onto wire rack to cool.

Makes 1 loaf.
