About 2 lbs. turkey drumsticks
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. buttermilk baking mix
1/3 c. milk
Rinse turkey. Place in skillet; add 1 cup water. Bring to boil, turn down heat. Cover. Simmer 2 hours. Remove turkey. Measure liquid, adding water to measure 2 cups. Return liquid to skillet; stir in cornstarch, bouillon and poultry seasoning. Add vegetables. Bring to a boil, turn down heat. Cover. Simmer 5 minutes.
Remove turkey from bones. Add to skillet. Combine baking mix and milk; drop in 4 spoonfuls onto simmering stew. Cook uncovered 5 minutes. Cover, cook 5 minutes more. Makes 4 servings. Turkey thigh may be used.
