4 chicken breasts 2 pkgs. frozen broccoli 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted) 2 c. med. white sauce 1/2 c. Cheddar or American cheese, grated Cook chicken breasts in salted water until done; remove from bone and break into bite size pieces. Cook and drain broccoli. Grease baking dish and put chicken in bottom. Mix soup and white sauce together; pour half over chicken then add broccoli. Add remaining sauce and sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 8. WHITE SAUCE: 4 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk Melt butter in heavy saucepan; stir in flour and gradually add milk. Stir until thickened and smooth. |
