16 oz. cleaned spinach leaves 8 strips bacon, cooked and chopped, reserve drippings 4 hard cooked eggs, chopped 4 slices raw onion 1 can mandarin oranges, drained 1 tsp. sesame seeds 3 c. diced chicken meat 1/2 c. pineapple chunks, drained 1 c. diced celery DRESSING: 1 egg 3 tbsp. sugar 1/3 c. cider vinegar 1/4 c. bacon drippings garnish: 1/2 c. toasted almonds Mix salad items. Prepare dressing (mix egg and sugar, stir in vinegar, blend well in saucepan, add mixture to hot bacon drippings, stirring over medium heat until thick). Drizzle with dressing. Garnish with almonds.
