4 thick veal steaks Salt White pepper 1 tsp. mustard 4 thin slices Swiss cheese 4 thin slices ham 2 eggs 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. bread crumbs 4 tbsp. oil Slice a deep pocket in steaks, salt and pepper. Spread mustard in pouch. Place 1 slice of cheese and ham in each steak, secure with a toothpick. Beat eggs. Dip steaks in flour, then eggs, then roll in bread crumbs. Fry over medium heat 6 to 7 minutes each side. |
