APPLE CRUMB PIE
 

1 (9 inch) pie crust
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Crumb topping

In large bowl, combine apples, with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Place in pie shell. Sprinkle crumb topping over top.

In small bowl combine 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup light brown sugar and 1/3 cup softened butter.

Bake at 400 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes. Place on foil in oven. Cover pie loosely with piece of foil halfway through baking to prevent over browning.
