1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 2 c. sugar 2 c. water 1 1/2 c. Bisquick 1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. milk 2 c. chopped apples (or may sub. any canned fruit, 15 oz.) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. In a microwave dish, heat sugar and water until sugar melts. Cut butter into Bisquick until mixed well. Add milk and stir. Put fruit in pan, drop by spoonfuls of dough mixture on top of fruit. Pour sugar syrup around the dough. (This looks like too much liquid, but the crust will absorb it.) Bake for 55-60 minutes.
