3 c. fresh gooseberries 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. Minute Tapioca 1/8 tsp. salt Crush 3/4 of gooseberries - add sugar, tapioca and salt. Cook until bubbly. Add remaining berries and put into unbaked 9 inch pie crust. Dot with butter (using 2 tablespoons). Add top crust. Brush with milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. |
