CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
 

1 deep dish pie crust
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips, melted
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecans

Stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chocolate, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 60 minutes. Cook on wire rack. Don't over bake! Pie will continue to cook and set up after you take it out of the oven.
