ELEANOR GRAVE'S BERRY GLACE PIE
 

1 qt. berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
Baked pie shell
Whipped cream

Cut up 1 cup berries, add water and cook 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and sugar; add to berry mixture and cook until it thickens. Cool. Stir in lemon juice. Arrange remaining berries in pie shell. Pour cooked berry mixture over top and chill. Top with whipped cream.
