Mix together thoroughly 1 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch in saucepan, add 1 cup water, bring to boil and cook until clear and thick. Turn off heat immediately, add 3 tablespoons lemon Jello (one 3 ounce package makes 2 pies.)
Pour mixture over fresh blackberries or blueberries that have been placed in baked pie shell. Chill in refrigerator for several hours. Cover top with Cool Whip and serve. Delicious!
