APPLE CRISP WITH TOPPING
 

1 c. white sugar
6-7 c. apples, sliced
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour

Pare and slice 6-7 apples or enough to fill a 9 inch deep dish plate. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Crumble: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup flour and sprinkle over the apples. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. Granny Smith apples are best.
