1 1/4 c. fructose 6 tbsp. cocoa 3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp sp. flour 2 c. milk 3 eggs, separated In top of a double boiler mix fructose, cocoa, cornstarch and flour, add milk and egg yolks beaten. Cook until thick as desired. Cool a little and add 2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring. Place in a baked 9 inch pie shell. MERINGUE: 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar Dash salt Egg whites 4 tbsp. fructose 1 tsp. vanilla Beat eggs, cream of tartar and salt until they start to foam. Add fructose a teaspoon at a time until forms stiff peaks. Add vanilla and spread on top of pie filling. Bake in a 350 degree oven until peaks brown slightly. |
