CHOCOLATE PIE
 

1 box Jello pudding & pie filling (chocolate fudge)
1/2 c. sugar
1 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie crust

Mix sugar, cocoa with Jello pudding mix. Add evaporated milk slowly, then milk; cook over low heat until boiling. Add a small amount to 2 beaten egg yolks. Stir this egg mixture in the chocolate pudding, then add vanilla. Pour into baked pie crust, top with meringue. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until brown.

MERINGUE:

2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tbsp. sugar

Beat until stiff.
