4 cups chopped tomatoes 3 Tbsps. chopped garlic 2 cubes chicken bouillon 1/4 cup water 3 Tbsps. fresh basil 3 Tbsps. pine nuts Angel hair pasta In skillet or saucepan over medium heat, lightly saute garlic in water with bouillon cubes. Add tomatoes with fresh basil and cook gently over warm heat to sauce consistency. Just before removing from heat, mix in pine nuts. Sauce is now ready to pour over prepared angel hair pasta. For a special treat, when we plan in advance, we vary the recipe by adding a few fresh dried tomatoes. If desired, fresh crackled pepper and grated Parmesan cheese can be sprinkled on top. |
