1/2 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 2 tsp. instant minced onion 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. garlic powder or salt 1 c. cottage cheese 8 uncooked manicotti shells Mix well with hands. Pack the meat mixture tightly into uncooked shells. Pour 1/2 large can of tomato sauce into flat baking dish. Place stuffed shells in dish; pour over rest of the sauce. Cover with foil. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle 1 cup shredded Jack cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Return to oven, uncovered, 15 minutes. Serves 4. |
