LASAGNA
 

Homemade or lg. jar spaghetti sauce
1 box lasagna noodles
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger or sausage
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 or 2 (8 oz.) Mozzarella cheese
1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
Salt & pepper to taste

Prepare lasagna noodles per directions. Meanwhile, cook hamburger, garlic, onion, salt and pepper in skillet until browned. Drain. Mix ricotta, egg and parsley in bowl. Drain noodles and cool. Spoon approximately 1 cup spaghetti sauce on bottom of 9"x13" pan. Layer 1/3 of lasagna, 1/3 meat mix, 1/3 Ricotta, 1/3 Mozzarella and 1/2 cup sugar. Repeat layering, ending with noodles. Add sauce to top and Mozzarella. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove foil an bake another 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. 12 servings.
