4 c. cooked macaroni, (8 oz. pkg.)
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sharp cheese, cubed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine macaroni, butter, cheese and seasonings. Place in greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Combine eggs and milk and pour over macaroni. Sprinkle with paprika or buttered crumbs. Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Yield 6 servings.
Tomato macaroni: Substitute 2 cups canned tomatoes for 2 cups of the milk in Old Fashioned Macaroni and Cheese. Add with cheese.
